Sama Exchange was founded in the year 2014, with full operations started in the year 2015. The company was established by Mr. Majid Ali Hassan Rashid, a UAE citizen and a capable, results orientated, multi talented businessman with experience of leading high Performance teams and of successfully increasing efficiency and productivity whilst reducing costs and inefficiencies. Mr. Majid was Major and the Director of Passport Control at Terminal 1 - Dubai International Airport.

Sama Exchange operations are handled by the Board of Management which is comprised of highly qualified people from the Banking and Foreign exchange industries. The primary focus of the company has been Cash Management and Payment Services for the Retail and Mid-Tier SME customers, referred to as the corporate customers of the exchange company.
